Tracy Atkinson

Director of Global Marketing and Relations

Tracy began her career in property management with the Allied Group in 1992, joined Pinnacle in 1996 and moved to GRE in 2011. As the Director of Global Marketing and Relations, Tracy focuses her talents on the planning and marketing for GRE’s new development sites. In her current role she has overseen the marketing for 21 new development sites throughout the greater Seattle area and Phoenix.

Taking the lessons learned from each new development, Tracy has set the standards for excellence at GRE and now focuses on quality control throughout their entire portfolio. Tracy has helped create a culture and brand that is felt throughout their communities. Exuding positivity, Tracy makes everyone she meets feel valued. She is passionate about public speaking, training, and motivating her teams. She has always believed it is a privilege to rent someone their home, and an honor to have people living in their communities. This attitude has afforded Tracy many successful projects.

Tracy studied Business at BYU-Idaho where she met and married her college sweetheart. She and her husband have been married since 1988 and have three grown children. They are a baseball family, have two big dogs they treat like their kids, and love boating. Tracy loves to travel the world and is always planning her next big adventure.

Teresa Beattie

Executive Manager

Teresa has been with GRE since 2009 and in the real estate industry since 1998. Her first role in the field was working with a Seattle developer who was designing a building next to the Kingdome. As his only employee, she learned many aspects of the business from the ground up: developing property, partnering with architects and investors, and working with the Department of Planning and Development. As the Executive Manager at GRE, Teresa still wears several hats. She is the right-hand for both John Goodman and George Petrie and keeps the GRE ship afloat with efficiency and grace.

Known for her ability to get things done, Teresa enjoys the diversity of her role and opportunity it affords her to positively impact those around her. One of Teresa’s greatest strengths is to recognize and cultivate potential in others, and she finds gratification in seeing others succeed.

Married since 1979 with 3 grown children, Teresa loves spending time with her husband on DIY projects and planning their adventures. She is thankful for her health and any opportunity to be active. Teresa finds joy and contentment in her faith, in caring for her family and friends, and in random acts of kindness. She has been a longtime supporter of Union Gospel Mission.

Eric Bentler

Assistant Development Manager

Eric joined GRE in 2011 while completing his BS in Construction Management from the University of Washington. As an Assistant Development Manager, Eric works on a team that is responsible for the design, entitlement, construction, and sale of multi-family projects throughout the Greater Seattle area. He works closely with architects, engineers, city planners, lenders, and contractors on a daily basis.

Known for his dependability and work ethic, Eric enjoys being part of a team and working towards a greater goal, embracing the challenges and roles involved in multi-family projects, and building relationships along the way. He also loves a good challenge; he views each new challenge as a way to learn a new skill, discover a new efficiency, and achieve more in the evolving Seattle multi-family market.

Eric likes to relax with family and friends when he is not working. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling and spending time on the water fishing in Eastern Washington.

Rita Burden

Asset Manager

Rita began working at GRE in 2001 in an administrative position and excelled in many roles on her way to becoming an Asset Manager in 2007. The success of her path has led her to be very passionate about growing her team from within, and she takes pride in empowering members of her team to develop to the next level.

Known for her efficiency, Rita is a leader who has a knack for helping managers create solutions to any problem through collaboration. She is especially talented with tenant relocation and tax credits (LIHTC and HTC). She has a degree in International Business from Washington State University.

Driven by the fact that they provide homes and opportunities for tenants who otherwise could not afford them, Rita and her team actively look for ways to improve their tenants lives. In addition to affordable housing, her team sponsors summer camp programs, after-school programs, and community dinners, amongst other things.

Rita is very active with her children's school, King’s. She acts as the Kindergarten parent-lead and also serves on the parent council for the preschool. Rita and her family love traveling and watching football. They are die-hard WSU Cougs and Seahawks fans.

Austin Clausius

Digital Marketing Manager

Austin has been with GRE since 2012 and is responsible for integrating social media with real estate management. His duties include managing GRE’s social media sites and property websites, SEO analysis and online advertising, and training site managers on how to use social media. Austin holds a BA in Communications from Washington State University.

Austin was drawn to this role because he loves technology and the way it continually evolves. He is passionate about making sure he stays up-to-date with every new app and social media outlet and has embraced his well-earned reputation as a nerd amongst his colleagues for his in-depth knowledge of technology.

If someone has a problem or needs help, Austin is generally one of the first to jump in. He takes pride in being a problem-solver. One of the things Austin finds rewarding about working at GRE is participating in the annual day of volunteering with his fellow GRE employees at the Rebuilding Together Seattle nonprofit.

In his free time, Austin loves being outside, snowboarding in the winter and golfing in the summer. As a self-proclaimed “foodie”, he enjoys trying new restaurants and breweries.

Jennifer Cox

Property Manager

Jennifer joined GRE in 2010 from their affiliate, Pinnacle, where she worked for 6 years managing commercial and multi-family properties. As both a property manager and asset manager, she is known for her dedication to her work and the ability to reach her professional goals.

After earning a degree in Business Administration from Seattle University with a minor in Economics, Jennifer worked at Nordstrom for two years developing her excellent customer service skills. Missing the formality of business, she found her way to Pinnacle and the world of property management.

Jennifer is tenacious. She has a passion for problem-solving, and if faced with a challenge will continue to search for the answer until it is resolved. One of the things she enjoys about working at GRE is the opportunity to take on new projects. She is motivated by being assigned new assets and finding ways to improve their performance.

Jennifer is passionate about her family and finding fun things to do on the weekends. She combines that passion with her love of Seattle and so can often be found exploring parks, the zoo, camping spots, or just walking around the city and enjoying the views.

Kim Dang

Senior Accountant

Before joining GRE in 2013, Kim had been doing accounting for corporate and multi-family properties since 1998. As the Senior Accountant, she is responsible for the financial reporting, accounts, and budgeting for the GRE commercial properties portfolio. Kim has a BS in Accounting from City University and is bilingual, speaking English and Vietnamese fluently.

Known for her attention to detail and organization skills, Kim thrives in her role because she values the independent work and the ability to set and accomplish goals. She enjoys implementing procedures to increase the efficiency of the accounting team. She has a talent for reconciling differences and is a friendly and genuine colleague.

After a hectic day, Kim likes to wind down by listening to music, exercising, cooking, and being with her friends and family. Kim has two wonderful sons and she is proud of their academic achievements.

Deb Dewall

Assistant Controller

Deb joined GRE in 2012 and has been in the property management and real estate world for 15 years. As the Assistant Controller, she provides accounting and financial support to the CFO and Chairman.

Prior to joining GRE, Deb worked for their affiliate, Pinnacle, for nine years starting as an Accounting Lead and then moving to the IT Department as a Project Manager. She has done contract work for Microsoft and other small businesses providing consulting, project management, and database administration services.
Deb is known for her skills in accounting, project management, and database administration.
She thrives in these tasks because of her aptitude in strength and observation.

Deb is passionate about her friends and family. In her spare time, she enjoys being in the outdoors and can often be found hiking, camping, and traveling.

Tim Dickerson

Asset Manager

Tim joined the GRE team in 2003, coming from Trammell Crow, where he had been for 11 years. He is a well-rounded real estate professional, having working in property management, corporate outsourcing, real estate transactions, and development. Tim has a BA from Washington State University and holds a Certificate of Commercial Real Estate from the University of Washington. He is actively involved with the real estate organizations IREM, BOMA, and NAIOP.

Known for his ability to achieve company, client, and partner objectives, Tim’s clients love to work with him because he is adaptable to change when the situation calls for it. He works hard, has a great deal of stamina, and understands that flexibility is important to his and his client’s successes. Tim enjoys working on projects that he helps to shape and deliver. At the end of the day, he likes to point to something tangible and know he had a hand in it.

Tim is a supporter of the Plymouth Housing Group which provides transitional housing for individuals. He is drawn to the organization because they have an impressive track record and provide an excellent service to the Seattle community.

Outside of work, Tim loves spending time with his three kids and extended family. They mean the world to him.

Tom Eyler

Chief Financial Officer

Tom began working for Pinnacle Realty Management in 1995 and moved to GRE in 1997. He started with GRE as their Assistant Controller and worked his way up to CFO in 2015. Tom works directly with Lawyers, Tax Accountants, Insurance Agents, and Escrow Officers on the financial aspects of acquisitions, dispositions, and lender financing for multi-family and commercial real estate. He also oversees all Corporate and Partnership tax matters as well as the company’s Master Insurance Program. He has a BA in Accounting from the University of Puget Sound.

With his talent for details and dogged determination, Tom revels in the order created from chaos involved in closing deals. Having worked with GRE for more than 20 years, Tom is excited by how the company has grown and the jobs and wealth that have been created. He credits this success to GRE’s fantastic team.
Tom is married with two daughters. He and his wife are big supporters of Seattle Children’s Hospital. They also support Treehouse, a nonprofit that helps foster children in Seattle, and volunteer at their daughters’ school, Sacred Heart in Bellevue.
At home, Tom enjoys collecting and drinking wine, and especially enjoys sharing wine and a nice meal with friends. He and his family love to travel and have a special place in their hearts for Hawaii.

John Goodman

Chairman

John Goodman is a well-established business owner and community contributor in the Greater Seattle area. John’s career in real estate management, development, and investments spans more than 30 years. With an entrepreneurial spirit, John utilizes his considerable market knowledge and financial strength to manage his investment firm that builds and maintains a portfolio of multi-family and commercial assets. He has had ownership in more than 40,000 apartment units and 2.5 million square feet of office space and is a leading developer of multi-family housing in the Puget Sound region.

The key to John’s success is his integrity, his many longstanding professional and personal relationships, and the team of real estate professionals that he has fostered over the years. Inspiring his team with his vision, his contagious enthusiasm, and his ability to turn thoughts into actions, he is the mastermind behind the achievements at GRE. Known for his loyalty and generosity, he inspires loyalty and generosity in his team.

John founded the Goodman Foundation in 2005. The mission of the Goodman Foundation is to fund organizations that support children and their families. Through this foundation, he supports the Boys & Girls Club, Seattle Children’s Hospital, and the Big Brother/Big Sister program, amongst many others.

A Seattle-native, John is married with three kids and enjoys spending time with his friends and family, racing, golfing, and boating.

Jon Harle

Chief Operating Officer

Jon started in real estate in 1993 after graduating from Eastern Washington University with a degree in Finance and a minor in Economics. He began as a Property Manager, specializing in taking on troubled properties where he could have the most impact and improving them. He joined Pinnacle in 1996 and then GRE in 2006, rising to his current position as the COO in 2012. Jon oversees nearly 11,000 apartment units worth $1.9 billion.

Leading his team toward high achievement and high rewards, Jon is passionate about managing people, projects, and properties. He enjoys empowering people to find their highest potential while keeping them grounded. He is effective as a leader because his team believes in him as much as he believes in them. He excels when taking on a new project or property and increasing efficiency and profitability.

Known for his loyalty and generosity, Jon believes in giving back to the community and will be the first to support a cause when approached by someone he respects.

Jon and his wife have four daughters. They love to stay active as a family: attending concerts, gathering with friends, snow-skiing in the winter, and taking weekend trips to Lake Chelan in the summer. Jon is an avid Seahawks fan and has been a season ticket holder for 15 years.

Frank Kim

Senior Asset Manager

Frank began as an Asset Manager at GRE in 2007, after following his passion for property management. He started his real estate career with his own personal rentals around the Lake Union area of Seattle in 2005. One rental quickly turned into several rentals and he found that he enjoyed real estate more than his current occupation in the banking industry. While managing his assets, others took notice and soon he was managing rentals for third parties and looking for a path to turn his passion into a career.

A graduate of the University of Washington’s School of Business, Frank finds fulfillment in his work by helping to create a rewarding work environment for team members, identify opportunities in real estate, and create value through renovations and project management. He is known for his logic and his ability to get things done. He has a knack for creating new ideas to reward and empower team members.

Frank loves traveling around the world to gain perspective. Experiencing what brings true happiness to others around the globe helps Frank build his own character and priorities. Family, health, friendships, love, and giving back. He is also an avid fan of the TV show Shark Tank and dreams of one day being on the panel for entrepreneurs to pitch ideas.

Kristen Kuniyoshi

Development/Commercial AP Specialist

Kristen joined GRE in 2011 after graduating from the University of Washington with a BA in Economics. As the Development/Commercial AP Specialist, she is responsible for processing accounts payable for development and commercial properties.

Diligent, hard-working, and detail-oriented, Kristen enjoys being a team-player and being involved in many different things. She believes that taking on tasks beyond her remit allows her to continue to grow. Her partners appreciate her promptness, consistency, and the pride she takes in each task. She is currently attending an evening certificate program in accounting at the UW. Her long-term plans include obtaining her CPA license.

In her spare time, Kristen runs with Team in Training to raise money for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society (LLS). She also participates in the Big Climb at the Columbia Tower in Seattle annually, which also benefits LLS. She loves being active and challenging herself to try new workouts. While football is her favorite sport (she is a big fan of the Seahawks and the Huskies), she also likes watching baseball and basketball. She enjoys baking and makes a mean cheesecake.

Chad Lenchuk

Asset Manager

Chad began working with John Goodman in 1998 as an Acquisition Underwriter in what was then Goodman Financial Services. After five years away as an Investment Manager for Schnitzer Northwest, he returned to GRE in 2006. As an asset manager, he manages the overall physical and fiscal responsibility of over 1 million square feet of commercial real estate. He is motivated by the team at GRE and enjoys being a part of a team that works together to accomplish great things.

Known for his financial strength, Chad has a knack for reviewing and creating financial reviews of properties. Chad is passionate about creating value, and enjoys improving the efficiency, leasing ability, and value of a property.

Chad holds a degree in both Economics and Business from the University of Washington and is a CPM candidate. He is actively involved with the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), and the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA).

Chad participated in the first annual Space Needle "Base 2 Space” stair climb to benefit Fred Hutch Cancer Research Center. Having seen several friends and family members affected by cancer, Chad’s competitive nature kicked-in and motivated his fundraising efforts. He is proud to say that he was the #1 overall fund-raiser for the event.

Kirt Norman

Financial Analyst

Kirt came to GRE in 2005 from Trammell Crow, where he had been a Commercial Property Accountant. As the Financial Analyst, he works directly with senior management staff in identifying and analyzing real estate investment opportunities for acquisition, disposition and recapitalization. He completes the financial models for each of GRE’s stabilized properties, plus underwriting for new development projects and providing data for banks and appraisers. Kirt has a BS in Accounting from the University of Montana.

Kirt enjoys solving problems and finding long-term solutions. He thrives with new acquisitions and doing the due diligence to complete new deals. He is hard-working with a great sense of humor, and the team could not survive without him.

Kirt has a generous spirit and enjoys participating in the Rebuilding Together Seattle event with his GRE colleagues every year, and is a supporter of the Progressive Animal Welfare Society (PAWS). Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends.

Kelli Jo Norris

Director of Operations

Kelli Jo began her career in real estate in 1986 and joined GRE in 1996. Her interest in real estate was sparked by her mother, who worked in the field. She started her career working for a development company where she learned development, construction, leasing, and management from the bottom up. Now, she manages more than 1 million square feet of commercial space and manages a team of over 30 professionals.

People believe in Kelli Jo and want to follow her to success. She is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with the company’s partners and third party clients, and people love working with her because she genuinely loves what she does. Kelli Jo is known for her nerve – she has great instincts, creative ideas, and knows how to make things happen.

Kelli Jo is an active member of several industry organizations such as the Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) and Downtown Seattle Association (DSA). She and her family are involved in their community in Sun Valley through their church and the Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation

Kelli Jo, her husband, and their two children have an active lifestyle that they love. She describes herself as an “outdoor junkie”. On top of being an avid equestrian, she and her family love to be skiing (snow or water), hiking, or boating.

George Petrie

CEO & President

George began his career in real estate in 1990 and joined GRE in 1999. His experience spans roles in finance, accounting (as a CPA), operations, property management, asset management, acquisitions, and dispositions. Before landing at GRE he worked at Unico Properties and Trammell Crow. George holds a BA from the University of Washington School of Business, and holds the real estate designations: CPM, CCIM, and RPA.

As CEO & President, George is a high energy, results-driven leader focused on taking calculated risks promptly. He can move mountains. He finds satisfaction in making dreams and opportunities move toward completion by bringing together the people and resources needed to achieve them. He is effective because he encourages everyone on the team to use their voice and ensures that all facets of each opportunity are explored.

Knowing that he has contributed to providing shelter for people and businesses brings great contentment to George and fuels his work. He believes that those in real estate are stewards, enabling people and businesses to pursue their calling.

George is passionate about contributing to the community where he lives. He is on the board of CRISTA Ministries and Vision 16, and enjoys mentoring young people who are considering real estate as a profession.

George has been married since 1990, and he and his wife have three daughters. They enjoy skiing, boating, and hiking.

Eric Rogers

Development Assistant

One of the newer members of the team, Eric joined GRE in 2015. He started as an intern while completing his degree in Marketing from Washington State University, and was hired upon graduation as a Development Assistant. He is responsible for document management, tracking development schedules, and procuring bonds, amongst other things.

Eric loves analyzing data and is a wizard with Microsoft Excel. He has a knack for showing data in an easy-to-read way. He is great with numbers and enjoys solving math problems. Eric thrives while learning, and is continually looking for ways to grow professionally. He strives to learn something new every day.

An avid sports fan, Eric is a supporter of the nonprofit Courts for Kids, an organization that builds sports courts for children in economically disadvantaged areas. He had the opportunity to travel to Costa Rica and work with the community there on this project. Their mission is to build athletic courts with communities around the world while fostering cross-cultural understanding. This experience gave Eric the travel bug, and he is excited to continue to explore the globe.

Jennifer Tofte

Accounting Manager / Accounting Controller

Jennifer came to GRE from Ernst & Young in 2008. Having worked with a property management company in her previous role, she was drawn to the industry and the fun atmosphere. Jennifer has a BA in Accounting and Finance from Seattle University.

As the Accounting Manager, Jennifer is the chief problem solver. She loves to suss out issues proactively, and is known for having a knack in finding and addressing problems quickly. She is passionate about professional growth, both for herself and her team. She ensures that she and her team are continually learning and improving.

Personally, Jennifer is a big supporter of the Seattle Children's Museum. She is inspired by their mission statement to teach young children and get them excited about learning about the world around them.

Jennifer has a close family who is the center of her life. She is passionate about food and fitness; she and her husband are always looking for a fun restaurant to try and are enjoying turning their daughter into a foodie. On evenings and weekends, you can often find Jennifer having fun cheering on her daughter at her soccer games.

Nahkole Wardell

Executive Assistant

Nahkole joined GRE in 2005, coming from John L. Scott. As the Executive Assistant for the multi-family team, Nahkole wears many hats. She is responsible for managing the budgets, expenses, and schedules for the team and keeping everyone in harmony. She is the line that connects all the dots together to ensure success.

Known for her positivity, amazing memory, and organization, Nahkole uses her strengths to complete the due diligence needed in purchasing and selling acquisitions, conduct special tax valuations for historical buildings, manage projects, and countless other daily tasks.

Nahkole takes pride in the fact that people can count on her to finish each task, and she finds joy in making sure her team has what they need to be successful. Her work is driven by a genuine desire to make people happy.

Outside of work, Nahkole can be found spending quality time with her husband and son. She is passionate about yoga and became a Certified Yoga Instructor while on a retreat in Indonesia. She enjoys baking, gardening, and traveling.

Ray Warrick

Project Manager

Ray was hired by Pinnacle in 2001 to help with renovation work needed after the Nisqually Earthquake, and moved over to GRE in 2005. As the Project Manager he works on big and small renovation projects, day-to-day property management, and acquisitions and dispositions for the commercial side of GRE.

Finding stimulation in discovering the unique challenges in each new project, Ray loves the variety of his role. His strengths lie in his adaptability and ability to streamline processes to make them more efficient. Ray seamlessly jumps in to any project and his versatile talents ensure a successful completion.

Born and raised in Seattle, Ray has moved away three times but family ties and the love of this city have never kept him away very long. He is a graduate of Whitman College, and worked as a stage manager in many different Seattle theatre venues, from the “big houses” to quirky fringe productions in dive bars. Ray has welcomed his new theatre niche of being an avid supporter, subscriber, and audience member, always looking for new productions to bring a group of friends to.

Ray has been a member and supporter of the Southern Poverty Law Center for over two decades. When not at work, he enjoys finding new urban trails and paths to explore with his dogs.
